In the wake of Michael Jackson’s memorial, millions across the globe are still mourning over his death. Undeniably, he was one of the greatest entertainers and musicians that ever lived and remains one of pop culture’s biggest influence till today.
Eternal Moonwalk pays tribute to the King of Pop by a series of videos submitted by people like you and me performing their own form of the moonwalk.
The site opens into a series of videos bobbing to the opening tunes of Billy Jean, all shown on after the other in a row. Each video loads in the center of the page, and continues on with the next video after the first one ends. This gives the impression that the moonwalk “continues”, seemingly in an endless loop, hence the title of the website. You can even submit your own video to the site!
I think it’s a great tribute to remember Michael Jackson for his most famous move, and certainly the man himself. After all, he is never truly gone.
